Youth Flash Mentoring Session
This flash mentoring session was designed as a platform for youths to engage in open, meaningful conversations with individuals from diverse backgrounds — including working professionals, changemakers, and community leaders. The aim was to expose young people to a variety of life paths, challenges, and insights they may not encounter in their everyday environments.
• I played a part in facilitating the flow of conversations, encouraging youths to ask bold questions and reflect on their own aspirations.
• The session provided a rare opportunity for intergenerational dialogue, helping young participants realise that there are many ways to define success and make an impact.
• Through listening and participating, I learned how important safe, informal spaces are in helping youths think critically about their future.
This experience taught me the value of curiosity, active listening, and bridging social gaps through dialogue. Moving forward, I hope to curate more spaces like this that help youths feel seen, inspired, and equipped to take their next steps with purpose.
